Cosmetology

Cosmetology is interested not only in camouflaging or treating already existing skin defects but it’s also focused on prevention which may result in youth prolongation, better physical proficiency and overall better health. More than 50 years ago World Health Organisation (WHO) recognised that health is much more than absence of diseases or weaknesses and instead defined health as a state of physical, mental and social wellbeing. This definition is maybe not perfect but it considers the mental and social issues, the state of wellbeing and says that being healthy is something more than not being ill. These are not new ideas. Since the beginning of the history of humankind, people wanted to be attractive, strong, handsome and healthy. In ancient Greece the fondness for sports was coming along with desire to look good. Ancient Greeks knew and used many kinds of cosmetic surgeries and they also attached a great deal of importance to clothing. Human body was treated as an philosophical object. Greeks believed that their Gods created a perfect world so man, as a creation of Gods, was also perfect. This perfection had to be taken care of and that’s the origin of Greeks cult of physical and intellectual vigour. Greeks prized equally the art of oratory and body shape, they practised athletics and carried out philosophical disputes. To preserve the youth and beauty they were using a variety of cosmetic surgeries, beginning from the most simple ones like rubbing the body with olive oil, to very sophisticated or even dangerous ones like mechanical peelings. Sauna and other kinds of hydrotherapy (SPA) were very popular in Greece.

We offer for our customers a wide range of cosmetic surgeries and medicinal cosmetology surgeries. Clients with fat skin problems may use several different anti-acne, anti-inflammation and anti-seborrhoea surgeries.
